Very exciting staying in a real old chateau, but with the facilities of a very thoughtful full restoration with modern comforts such as a/c, floor heating and huge and beautiful private bathrooms. The site is also very pretty, a large estate well landscaped. Last but not least, Jennifer was a great hostess.

The hidden gem of Dordogne! I’m not sure where to start - the incredible hospitality, the beautiful surroundings, or the fantastic accommodations. Breakfast was sumptuous - Martine is quite the cook and many ingredients are sourced from the grounds. Whether you want to stay for a couple of nights or a week or more, there is plenty to see and do, and then you can go back and enjoy the comfort of Domaine du Pouzelaine.

The property is beautiful and special, the staff could not be kinder, the food in the restaurant is traditional French-chic, the breakfast is massive. I would go back in a minute. If you want to see the Dordogne, be near Bergerac, play a little country golf, taste wine - this is a great spot. We visited...

Beautiful setting, impeccably designed room and bath with no comfort detail lacking. Bucolic scene from the swimming pool adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere as one’s access to the owners’ library. Food was delicious. I can not recommend more highly.
