Nice room and location.

our room was very small, but we knew that when we booked, but it was very clean and recently decorated. The bathroom was also nicely done and overall we got what we ordered. Service at reception wasn't great checking in, he tried to charge us again even though we'd booked using our Tesco Clubcard vouchers and paid the rest at the time of booking, so be careful.

Very uncomfortable and noisy bed and the hot the price was too high for a 3 stars hotel and it deserve 2 stars and not 3 The location was good and close to the see

Awful hotel very expensive for what you get.

We were put in room 33 as our room wasn’t ready. When my husband saw the room we should have got it had a 3/4 bed which should have been a double room. It was very small again. There wasn’t any air in the room it was very hot. Shower scream was broken and the bathroom only as big as a wardrobe. No shower gel. Because we had been told there was he reluctantly provided it. Car doors banging early morning and evening, noisy fan outside started up at 6.30am People talking outside all hours of the night and early morning. It said you could order breakfast. When we ask to order he said no I would have to get staff in and pay them. You would be the only ones. You can walk down into the town or down on the beach to harvester.down 140 steps.Having had cancer treatment it wasn’t. an option for me. Told him wouldn’t have booked had we have known. We we across road to Durly Dean.

Disappointing but would probably stay again

Have stayed here several times before for the price a reasonable hotel but must admit the room wasn’t as clean as usual the radiator in bathroom was very dusty the cushion on the bed hadn’t been washed for a while. The room at the front of the hotel can suffer from road noise especially boy racers .the room was also blighted by the blowen double glazing.location is good corner shop nearby and takeaways

Reasonable value for money, room was small but clean with plenty of teas and coffees. Staff were really friendly, it’s just a shame that they weren’t doing breakfasts anymore.

A lovely weekend!

The reception staff were very friendly and the location was great. We arrived earlier than check in but they managed to accommodate us which was fantastic. The room was basic and could do with a little bit of TLC, the TV was a bit dusty and didn’t work. Aside from that we had a lovely stay.

Great hotel and location

This is the second time I've made a solo trip to Bournemouth and stayed at this hotel. It's in a great location, approximately 10min walk from the BIC and town centre or less than 5 from the beach which can be accessed straight across the road and down the cliff steps to the bottom of the chine where there's a shop, cafe, Harvester and only a short walk along the beach to the pier and town centre. Both stays have been out of the main season so a bit quieter but the owner/manager is friendly and helpful an the room was perfect size and cleaned to a good standard.

the staff here were very helpful and friendly also the hotel location was in a good location near the beach and town centre with various pubs in the vicinity as well I would recommend a stay here for future visits to the area with regards the booking of this hotel we were provided this hotel as our original apartment was booked for 6 months and we turned up on the day only to find a tenant in the flat and had to spend 55 minutes on the phone with hotel .com to see why this issue had happened so was not over impressed with hotel.com as should have been informed on this so as to avoid the time looking for a place to stay after a 2.5 hour drive on the 30 December please note this has no reflection on the west cliff inn hotel as were very helpful when we finally were provided with accommodation

West Cliff Inn

Overall my stay at the hotel was very good. Clean room and the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The only one inconvenience was the noise from the street at night.

Noisy hotel

This hotel was noisy there was someone shouting on the phone until 2 30am even after letting reception know also the bar had no ice a small thing maybe but surely this is a basic requirement
