“I have stayed in a lot of Chateaus- turned-hotels over my years of travel, so I think I can rave about this stay with credibility. It was a 10 out of 10. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet.”

“Slightly felt insecure during the night around the hotel”

“Studio has everything you need for a self-sufficient stay. Loved eating outside on our private terrace. Is mostly renovated with a few dated fixtures. Good but firm bed.”

“Friendly manager, good breakfast, good shower room, quiet and nice room. I think, if you visit Château de Saumur, Musée de la Cavalerie(Cavalry museum), Musée des Blindés(Tank museum) it's the best location. You can reach Château de Saumur with in 15 minutes, Musée de la Cavalerie with in 15 minutes, Musée des Blindés with in 30 minutes by walk.”

“It’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again. Poor breakfast. Great location and it was clean. No air conditioning and stairs difficult to climb. Staff was less accommodating than most.”

“The friendliest welcome ever! Teddy (the spaniel) and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful house. We were looked after extremely well and look forward to returning.”
