“Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river.”

“The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. But the unit itself needed a bit of work. The shower had a leak in the bottom and wasn't sealed properly, and there was a family of possums or rats living in the roof that were quite loud. Everything else was in good working condition, but overall could use with a good deep clean.”

“This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. The place was extremely unhygienic and clearly not cleaned properly. Basic necessities like toilet paper were not even provided, which is completely unacceptable. Even public toilets are far cleaner and better maintained than this. “Great rooms. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurants and seating areas are fantastic. Coffee was great.”

“The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return.”

“The room was very clean and had all we needed. The only thing missing was robes, but that’s not a deal breaker. Beautiful bathroom 😍 Bed was comfortable. The only downsides - minor - was that the room was cold when we entered. It would have been a nice touch for the room to be warm. Also, the hallway was very cold. Never had this at a hotel before. Staff were excellent and the Bluestonw Kitchen had beautiful food 😍”

“Great rooms except bearing gone in bathroom exhaust fan, likely due to mould/fluff build up. Rm313. Also tvs are 20 years old. No Netflix etc and no pay tv limited free to air. Fix the fans and TVs and it will be 10/10”

“good stay for the price. They work till late on many days - that was a plus so easy to check in. Lots of parking. Lots of places to eat at around the area and they give you a discount if you order food downstairs at their bar and give you a free drink voucher - was good. Overall the facilities were well maintained. I didnt hear any noises, no bad smell or anything like that. The only issue was that my window were looking at their A/Cs which would make some noise but was acceptable if the windows...
