“Clean room staff was great. Breakfast was good. Just wish it was more options for folks that don’t eat pork and that are vegetarian property very clean, maintain amenities, very clean and maintain.”

“We spent the Fourth of July weekend at this hotel and found it conveniently located. The hotel and rooms are very cleaned. You could tell it had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but it met our needs. The hotel did not have a pool or workout room. The breakfast that was included in the stay did not have any hot food but it had bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and muffins. It worked for us. I’d recommend this hotel as a nice place...

“Room was clean and any issues they addressed it right a way. Parking was great plenty of parking along with a clean indoor pool. The rooms are amazing I would stay here every time visiting New Haven.”

“The hotel was accessible and had fast food and cvs nearby. However, the room did have enough supplies in bathroom like conditioners or lotion. The microwave was not working. Also, the turn off part was cigarette smoke was coming when the AC was on, bit difficult to sleep with that, mostly may be someone was smoking behind the hotel. Had good parking spot. Overall okay when it’s just a day stay.”

“If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great.”

“Parking was easy but gets full fast. Check-in says at 3pm, my rooms were not ready until approximately 3:45pm. Staff were very careless with trying to get my room ready. Hotel promotes free cribs with stay was also a lie they do not carry cribs for baby! Asked for extra blankets and they will refuse to bring them up to you, you would have to make your way to the lobby to pick it up yourself. No hot water as well. Towels had a horrible smell as well. ”
