โAn impressive old house converted to a comfortable, modern hotel. An interesting neighborhood, easily walkable to the boardwalk and town for restaurants and bars. I was able to street park right in front of hotel. The owners are very friendly and eager to assist.โ
โRoom was good but had background noise, but we were upgraded without any bother. Second room was spacious and comfortable. Good bathroom. Didnโt use restaurant.โ
โI've used the F&G over many years. It's a decent independent hotel which has recently refurbished at least some of its rooms. If you're fed up of chains, try the F&G.โ
โHad a lovely little break with the family. Lodge was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub was a firm favourite with everyone, especially the kids. Would recommend this place to anyoneโ

access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptableโ

โNicky and Jim were great hosts, on call if required. Immaculate clean room with a great shower, had plenty of breakfast options. Quiet area with no disturbances in the night. Would highly recommended โ
