“We never had a view, we looked out to the back of buildings,which was ok,we dont mind too much, the mattress was shocking, really saggy at the top end on 1 side, we ended up turning the mattress, as it felt like i was sleeping on a hill.”

“Lovely 1st floor flat, very close to the beach with easy beach access which was what we wanted. The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. We appreciated the welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and chocolate!...

“I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. I would be very happy to stay there next year when I go down again. There was nothing to hate about staying there.”

Bit of a diamond in the rough kind of area, however as a solo traveler, the unique code to get into the hotel and the room added that extra security. Easy walk to all amenities and to the city centre, less than 20 minutes. Great value for money ”
