“Always a great stay. Staff work hard and are always helpful. Lovely room and great location. Excellent selection of food and drink. Cheap parking close by. Gary, Mandy and Ashley always look after us and go above and beyond.”

“We booked about an hour before we were due to arrive and everything was excellent with our room. Considering the price the rooms are set up with anything you might need (even including a bottle opener!) We were welcomed by very helpful staff.”

“Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.”

“Check in very slow and after travelling 3 hours with elderly disabled parents, our room was not ready, which is understandable. But the only offer to get changed for a wedding was in the changing rooms a flight of stairs down or the toilets! The girl on reception was adamant there wasn’t any other option available and was very unconcerned of the needs for my disabled mother. “Room was clean beds were comfortable shower which was a wet room for was excellent very easy for my wife to use Bad point was the complete lack of plugs anywhere near the beds meaning I had to get out of bed and cross the room to turn my alarm off. We also had the breakfast which wasn't very good burnt bacon and unhelpful staff when trying to order a drink as they didn't seem to want to make a coffee from the machine instead directing me to the mostly cold offerings on the continental breakfast...

“It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace.”

“A genuinely lovely experience. We stayed for two nights and were made to feel very welcome. It is a great hotel in a super part of Weston. We were greeted on arrival in order to help with our parking and upgraded to a sea-view room. Our host Andrew offered recommendations for places to visit and very useful advice. “Staff were very efficient and friendly. I have disability, someone had parked across the space outside and I let reception know. The disabled spaces need repainting as they are very worn. Bar staff very good, we didn't use restaurant. Lovely bathroom. Bed comfortable. Wardrobe doors creaked very badly, maybe some WD40 on the hinges would help! Good view. “A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon. Would recommend staying at this hotel.”

“Don't go there! Booked a room at The Savoy but was marched five doors down to a slum formerly called The Birchfield (name now covered up with sticky tape). TV hanging off the wall, curtains falling away, disgusting bathroom. One to avoid.”
