"You walk in and its a pretty hotel, nicely decorated. But as you go down to your room, its very dated. The decor in the room is dated and my pillow was too firm. However, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and it was in a quiet area. The bed was comfortable but im glad i brought my own pillow. ..."

I think you would have to have a specific reason to go to Brentwood, its kind of just there in the middle of Long Island. I grew up near by and wanted to visit old haunts. It was a nice middle class neighborhood, very safe and friendly.
