"The cleaning products used here have an extremely strong smell and the rooms would be unsafe for anyone with scent or chemical sensitivities. The staff did their best to help by switching us into a room that hadn’t been cleaned that day, but even there, with the balcony door wide open and keeping a mask on, the smell was still enough to cause dizziness after a couple hours. The rooftop pool is great and the staff were lovely, but ultimately after a few hours we had to find another hotel to stay...

It was early hours of the morning when we arrived and Edin had waited for us on his own accord, checked us in and showed us to our beautiful room ! The room was clean and super comfy. "Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor. Otherwise, superb facilities and ambience."
