"Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. "It tells you something that I was waiting in anticipation for the Hotels.com email just so I could get online and give Hensleigh House the five star rating it absolutely deserves. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we waved goodbye, our stay was first class. The building itself is beautiful with plentiful carparking out front which made access easy if needed. Inside, the bedrooms and ensuites were immaculate. Comfortable beds, windows you can actually open to let in fresh air, and decor some of the country's top hotels would do well to take tips from. Attention to detail was such that even the box of tissues on the bedside table carried the bird motif theme of the bedroom wallpaper. Downstairs, the shared lounge invites you in with its twinkling red lights and sofa you can sink into, and the bright breakfast room with it's big windows was a joy to come down to in the morning, if the smell of breakfast being cooked up wasn't enough on its own 🙂 Everything at Hensleigh House has the personal touch and the hosts were welcoming and friendly and made you feel that they were genuinely happy to have you there. I honestly cannot fault it and we will absolutely be going back again. In fact - I'm quite loathe to write such a glowing review in case it gets booked out!! "
