The rooms are basic, very basic. The bedding was clean. The bathroom was clean but the shower was old, in need of renovation and did not easily keep the water in. This is a 2-3 star property ideal for a budget concious traveller in transit, but not a long stay. Directly opposite the MSC cruise terminal, so you had ocean views. The elevator only worked from the 1st floor, so you have to haul your luggage from ground floor to the 1st floor. Not suitable for people who have limited mobility. A flat 5 minute walk from the main street in Brindisi which had shops, supermarkets and restaurants. No coffee etc in the room, but it has vending machines in the lobby.

This place is good value and very good location. I had a single room without usable windows (narrow window at ceiling height) I hadn't thought to check that there was a window, and probably would not have booked, had I known. Staff were polite, but could not help as no other single rooms available. No breakfast, but decent places not too far away.

The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street. The necessary AC worked really well, thankfully. As for location, the hotel is on a main bus line about 300 meters from the palm tree lined main street, Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi I, with 2 little cafes at the end of the Corso that meets the beautiful waterfront. The better cafe is Cafe Au Sonia, a Quarta Caffe member. Well run, and obviously where all the locals go, as it was always busy. The other cafe next door, had few or no folks there whenever I went by. Also, there are several other eateries up the Corso offering a variety of local fare. Also, there is a Eurospin super market a 10 minute walk from the hotel, using side streets. So, would I go back to this hotel? Absolutely!!! Very reasonably priced, not fancy but charming with the lobby having a nautical theme, well located near the gorgeous waterfront and train station, and with a staff that is extremely helpful, aiming to please. The front desk manned 24/7. Consider this hidden gem in Brindisi.

Expedia states breakfast included and we include breakfast included in our Expedia searches.…desk clerk says NO.. actually, there is not a restaurant on the premises. “Free” parking is ONLY if you’re lucky enough to find a space in public parking lot. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. BARE bones, but $65 a night.. definitely wouldn’t stay again.

It's fine if you're travelling by car, but if you're travelling by bus, this hotel is really inconvenient so you should avoid it. The room smells even though it's cleaned every day. Also I ate dinner at the hotel, but the taste was average. There's nothing else around so I have no choice but to eat at the hotel.

Oh my days, time travel exists!

Oh my days! This is not a hotel to spend any length of time in. It hasn’t been renovated in 20 years. It was like a Spainish hotel in the 70’s. Use only for one night while waiting for ferry. Nothing in the room worked. Very noisy. On a postive note the sheets on my single bed were clean!

Expect to be treated according to the country of your passport by the old white man at the reception. My brother is resident of Germany but he was yelled at to show his passport. And we couldn’t do the checkin until the 4 of us (family members) were present at the reception to get our 2 rooms. As a French citizen, my iD card was accepted and the treatment changed when I arrived. Also, two other Italian ladies arrived after us but were received kindly with nice words and smiles. Although we arrived late (8pm) & they knew about it in advance the rooms weren’t ready. One of the rooms smelled badly cigarettes & mold. The beds and towels were clean. The location is good. We were there just to sleep as we couldn’t find any other option but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have really really no other option.

Am Morgen sobald das WC von anderen Zimmer gespült wird, es hat extrem fest nach Toilettenabwasser. Das Geruch war sehr stark und unerträglich, dass ich dann am selben Morgen check out machen musste und andere Übernachtung finden musste. Das Geruch ging trotz die offene Fenster nicht weg, weil jedes mal wenn das WC vom anderen zimmer gespült worden ist, komm es immer wieder. Ich hatte drei Nächte gebucht und habe wegen unerträgliches Geruchs habe ich nur eine Nacht übernachtet. Mir wurde nur klar gemacht, dass es kein Rückzahlung stattfinden wird. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und würde nie empfehlen dort zu übernachten.

O hotel está em Pessima condicoes, ate ai tudo bem, iríamos descer do Cruzeiro da MSC e eu queria apenas um local próximo para dormir, contudo, logo no checkin tivemos um pessimo atendimento pelo atendente do dia, super grosso, estava com minha família buscando outro quarto disponível nas redondezas e por alguns minutos nos sentamos nas poltronas da frente do hotel e o atendente expulsou minha família dali, dizendo que só “hóspedes” poderiam sentar, sendo que eu era uma hóspede e mesmo assim fomos expulsos, meu pai deficiente cadeirante e minha vó de 82 anos tiveram que sair do local em busca de hotel pq ele não deixou sentarmos na cadeira para procurar no app. Limpeza horrível, ar condicionado não funcionava, frigobar desligado, pior experiência da minha vida. Única coisa positiva foi que o atendente da NOITE de óculos e olhos claros foi educado e cedeu mais um travesseiro que solicitamos, tirando isso, pessima experiencia.

Abbiamo prenotato stanza con colazione inclusa per 2 notti, all'arrivo l'anziano alla reception ci fa pagare subito in tutta fretta e poi ci viene comunicato che la colazione non c'è. L'altro collega ha provato maldestramente a rimediare, proponendo delle brioche del discount e succo delle macchinette. Hanno incassato una cifra per un servizio che poi in effetti non offrono. Con la scusa di non averlo tolto dall'extranet. Detto ciò la posizione è comoda per raggiungere il centro di Brindisi. I mobili sono vecchissimi e nessuno toglie la polvere, va rinnovato profondamente, ma sembra che sia un po tutto lasciato andare sia nell'atteggiamento che nell'hotel in se.
