โExcellent location close to Strood railway station and 15 minute walk to Rochester Castle and High Street. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Great value for money. โ
โOK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra ยฃ50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. Hope these...
โArrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away.
Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasnโt an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as.
I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. โ
โStayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though thereโs a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if youโre near by.โ
โNice little pud with very nice staff, rooms could do with a bit of updating but itโs priced for what it is and the breakfast was excellent, staff all very helpful. โ
