“Patrick and Debi were amazing hosts.The property is very clean and well kept.They were very accommodating and personable and the grounds were very peaceful and quiet.Breakfast was delicious and we will always choose Shane Acres over any hotel when we need a place to stay in the Madison area. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!”

“It’s a very cute quiet little inn. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The beds were soooo comfortable and they even give pool towels on top of your shower towels.”

“Parking lot full. No one around to check in. Guy was not in office or in room. Some dangerous looking guys hanging out. We left as we did not feel safe.”

“The Hot Tub could use less chlorine and more water. The jets were shooting the water upward. The pool water was freezing. Overall, it wasn't a terrible place to stay.”

“Check in was courteous well done but could have been quicker. Room was clean, laid out well and had proper toiletries etc. I went to use hot tub but it looked like it needed cleaned. The staircase was dusty and so were other areas that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Breakfast was ok in quality but they were out of coffee so guests had to go to the lobby for coffee and the eggs were out for for quite a while despite very few guests in the breakfast area. No one was at the front...

“Door didn’t work- had to go down 3 times to get in the room- but still charged do early check in. The pending incidental charge was $100 for out of state vs $25 for in state. It has a decent continental breakfast.”

“Sausage at breakfast was cold. Didn't see red light on the warmer until after we were done. Pool and hot tub were closed which meant disappointed kids. Hallways stink so bad. Like someone vomited and it was vacuumed then the vacuum used in other areas as well. Then there was a powerful air freshener used to cover it up for a few hours that was almost as nauseating. The ac was across the huge room, on the other side of tv stand, so it never reached our bed right beside the jacuzzi. Jacuzzi didn't...
