"Clean, modern rooms, pleasant staff and good all round breakfast, although not right in the City centre which I prefer not to be anyway, only a 10 mins slow walk and you are in the City,
One big negative though, having stayed in both Holiday Inns and Expresses many times, having to pay for parking, I appreciate the hotel prices being higher for Bath compared to other places but to charge for parking as well is going to put visitors and guests off staying at the Holiday Inn, myself included."
"Lovely hotel located within the city centre. Felt clean, tidy and well presented. Staff helpful. Swimming pool was lovely, although at 1.2m deep worth noting if you are with young children. Breakfast had good selection.
Please can you put soft close on your toilet seats."
"This hotel was great for my weekend in Bath. The location was convenient for seeing the city and getting to and from the train station. A very quick walk to the spa and the Roman baths. The room is spacious and well maintained. The only negative I have is the breakfast. The food was stale and bland. But it was free so take it for what you will. I would definitely stay here again."
"Great location, very boutique style hotel.
The lighting in the room needs to be improved dramatically. It was dim and difficult to read a book.
Minor issue, but the coffee cups provided were old and had significant stains, a real put off if using them for coffee or tea.
The doors in lobby made significant noise that carried up through the second floor. Perhaps look at a way to dampen that."
"The Spa can only be used for guests between 8-10am and 7-9pm, if you want to use the spa outside of these times you need to pay for spa entry which was £70pp!
Also, the parking is not onsite, even though it is advertised as this. It is a 5 minute walk away a few roads away from the hotel, which you have to park and walk yourself, even though you're charged £40 per night."
