The place is central and right at many tourist places. The building is a bit old and the surrounding area is crowded and noisy, so not ideal for children or families.

Auto check in was not easy especially if you are not aware ( emails was in the junk) but the assistance i had make it easier , the apartment was good and the location is the best if you like the night life (very close to night clubs and restaurants)

Location is superb, it's a great budget solution

For an economy stay it's always fine, very basic but so is the price. The location is superb and it's a spacious room. They didn't invest in the look and feel but at these rates I would and couldn't expect that. It's all there, even have A/C. WiFi worked great. One thing I would recommend is that they add soap in the shower, if not bring some soap/shampoo from home.

Was a very nice stay for the price, I cannot complain about that, if you wanted to do an early check in you needed to pay and I tought that was a bit unnecessarily knowing that the apartment was already free for us, we also payed for a cleaning fee which is fair enough! So at the end a cheap stay but it did the job.

The room seemed a bit tired and worn out, the floor was dirty/dusty, the shower didn’t hold a consistent temperature, the bathroom had ants, the fridge was not cold. The biggest issue was that the door did not lock from the inside and the door code wasn’t uniquely mine. The walls were also very thin so I could hear neighbour conversations, music, activities etc. I was unlucky to get the room by the main door so could hear (and feel) all the comings and goings. Finally during check in I could not open the main door. It took 30 minutes for the staff to respond during which time someone else from the building let me in. lock from
Interior locks were removed from the door.

Love the location and as a semi local I can vouch for it. The rate is fair for a basic type accommodation. As I’ve stayed with them several times in the past I’ll repeat my suggestion: put some basic liquid soap in the shower that you can buy in bulk.

The apartment was two rooms, it had a double bed and a foldout bed, the other room was the toilet and shower,the door code didnt work so we had to try and get hold of someone to helo with that, apart from that it was as expected

I was a bit stressed out as they have very limited support for addressing access issues. I had to pay extra to have the keyless entry code extended. This is the first time what I have ever been asked to pay extra because my flight got delay (totally outside my control).

Inaccurate descriptions . Bad/ great service

The communication from liechenstein apartments was excellent. However I will never book with HOTELS.COM voluntarily again. Using the "navigate to" we arrived at the property and couldnt access it after many frantic phone calls and after approximately an hour (after having travelled for around 8hours) we finally got told we were to go somewhere that appeared right at the end of the email and was not where hotels.com's "navigate to" took us nor where was on our booking information . Now around an hour and 15 minutes after check in we gained access to a property. The picture i was sold was not what i recieved. The picture was of a large apartment. The picture had a sofa, table and chairs, 2 single beds a triple panel window seat etc , when i arrived with 2 other fully grown men we could lay down and touch both walls . A tiny 2.5x5m room with a mezzanine floor with a double bed and 1 single. Not the double and 2 singles in a 2 bedroom apartment I paid for . By this point frustration was immense, fortunately a gentleman called CHRIS finally semiresolved the issues and gained us access to another apartment where i slept on a sofa for 5 nights as we still didnt have the double and 2 single beds I booked. This is after a previous booking HOTELS.COM took 6 months to notify me I'd paid them to stay somewhere no longer trading causing this to be booked last minute . Ruined a large part of my holiday, see 1st pic what i was sold, 2nd where we were b4 Chris intevened

Location is fine, the room spacious enough but the decor is depressing - cream and brown just doesn't cut it. The furniture is ok but more than a bit dated. The walls are paper thin and you hear everyone coming and going. The keypads used to enter the rooms are handy but much too loud so if your 'neighbours' are quiet, you hear all the pads being activated every time. Communication from staff is poor. I received a different price from what I had understood I booked with Hotels.com. I send 3 mails before I got a response and then it was just a commitment to check what why it was like this. I was trying to get Hotels.com to fix the issue but in the end I had to contact the apartment myself and it took 3 calls to get through. Hotels.com fell way below what I expected and the apartment was not very attentive. When I eventually got them and got a commitment from them to only pay the amount at the time of the booking, I was told I'd receive an e-mail to confirm within an hour - not good enough for me (as I was leaving very early the following morning) and needed the mail there and then. The mail arrived more than an hour later. The Apartment was also slow in sending me access codes for the apartment and apartment building. I was already in Budapest by the time I had received them. Overall, for what I paid, 'the product' was poor value for money. The main benefit is location but that alone does not make up for poor standards - apartment and responsiveness.

Lamentable. Habíamos contratado habitación para dos noches, y pagado un extra por si hubiera que cancelar la estadía y así asegurarnos el reembolso. Nos enviaron varios mensajes para que pagáramos previamente un impuesto local, nos terminaron cobrando la estadía completa varios días antes de llegar. Cuando viajábamos desde Viena, hubo un accidente ferroviario que nos detuvo durante horas, y debido a la gravedad del mismo iba a ser imposible llegar a Budapest. Avisamos bastante antes de la hora del check-in, que además insistían para que lo hiciéramos online varios días antes. Tuvimos que contratar hotel en Viena, por suerte conseguimos. A pesar de las comunicaciones con el hotel, y luego de las gestiones que llevó adelante Hoteles.com, no nos otorgaron el reembolso. Nunca más, y lamentablemente por gente como esta ahora le decimos Budapeste. Nunca nos había ocurrido algo así.
