"While giving this hotel a rating of two star it has nothing to do with the property not being maintained or the hotel not being nice because it was. I mainly gave it 2 stars because I was blindsided from beginning to the end with fees that was hidden or not to my knowledge. The first thing I thought was very ridiculous. It had no parking area for customers that wanted to park their own vehicle. They strictly had valet which overnight parking, which if I'm getting a room I'm most likely going to be parked there. It was $60 for overnight"

"We stayed at the Marriott Marquis because we were visiting our son who has recently moved to Atlanta. We don't know the area, so we picked a place near him. It was clean, nicely maintained and close to many attractions. It was during the Christmas season, so we really appreciated the hot cocoa bar and the hot cider bar they set out. It has many, many floors, so if you are terrified of heights, you might consider asking for a room on a bottom floor. "

"The lobby was well lit. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was plentiful. Only stayed the one night so any of the other amenities were not used. I would definitely go back again."

"Blinds were broken in my room, unable to roll it up or down. Mentioned it to staff- nothing done. 1 elevator was working, so there were long waits and you had to ride with cleaning carts. Parking lot is seperate from the building. An elevator down to "T" and a walk past the pool to another outside building to another elevator- not convenient. Had a better stay with a more hospitable staff at BUCKHEAD LOCATION. Garbage can was overfull during breakfast and the waffle batter on floor was a hazardous moment waiting to happen. Location was walking "distance close" for things to do and restaurants."

"Best way to explain this experience is to say if you’re a city girl and your use to a certain type of living this will not be the place you want to be in.I wish I could show people what they are really offering you as a 5star hotel. Upon Arrival stepping into the elevator it smells like urine so that was the walk up welcome to Georgian Terrace. Cleanliness I tell you is of no importance at this hotel and I’ve stayed at motel 6 and found it to be much cleaner than this. Also who still has rundown old and when I say old I mean old white refrigerator and stoves? The utensils like the spatula should have been thrown in the trash years ago. The light fixture inside the kitchen was busted up, in the restroom there was a patched hole above the toilet and the floor wooden slabs were sliding to the point where you could trip fall and severely hurt yourself, if you ask me it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. However outside of the room is where you would want to be during your stay. NEVER AGAIN!"

"Well, the exterior buried dilapidated homeless people in prostitutes in the parking lot at all angles and corners get inside of the motel and it’s looks like something off of a horror movie scratches all over the walls, the counters, the desk and I go to check-in and the man won’t allow my service animal my EAS dog in the room so he tells me he cancels my reservation so I’ve yet to receive my refund which I’m waiting for and I better receive my refund. Someone needs to call the ADA on this place not to mention the health department. Absolute nightmare, specially arriving at 2:30 in the morning and having to find somewhere else to stay because they wouldn’t allow a service animal to go into their freshly renovated room, which I doubt by the exterior and the office area in the lobby, I can’t imagine how bad the rooms looked."
