Given this property was recommended amongst "boutique hotels" for Buenos Aires,I think this hotel is rather basic.
The rooms and features of the hotel are nicely done, but that's about it.
- breakfast is nice/ decent and the staff in the restaurant are super friendly.
- the receptionists act merely as door openers/ button pushers. The check in was functional, but pleasantries were kept to a minimum. The one night I had asked for help with changing a restaurant booking, I got a big sigh followed by "it won't be that easy" (which it turned out it was). I don't need a red carpet, but let's put it this way: it was easier and more pleasant NOT to interact with the reception staff than getting anything helpful out of them.
The hotel was heavily reduced due to the construction site next door, which i think makes the price fair and overall a good value for money. However, any price increase would need to be aligned with the retraining of the entire reception staff (it's otherwise 3 star at it's best, despite the made to look good decor)
