“Well-located in the Main Street of Raglan, Harbourview offers budget-friendly, no-frills accommodation. The pub itself is a beautiful old space with a great selection of food and drinks on offer and there was live music in the beer garden on Saturday night. Our room would have benefited from a few very basic amenities (bin, iron, coat hangers) to make our stay more comfortable. Be aware there was no taxi/ride share service in town at the time of our stay so we were entirely dependent on our hire...

“There are no check-in staff at the motel, so you have to check-in at a different hotel and then come here. That guy was pretty nice and friendly though. The shower had a tiny drain and no shower tray, so the bathroom completely flooded, even with a short shower. There is not stove or anything in the "kitchen". There was a leak coming from behind the fridge too, so a constant pool of water on the floor. It was pretty noisy with other guests making noise and no staff to do anything about it.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable, though the walls are papert hin and we could hear everything from the accommodation next door. The grounds needed some cleaning up as there was a big pile of rubbish at the gateway to the entrance of our accommodation and the laundry facilities were very dirty.”

“Great apartment furnished in eclectic Raglan style. The host was very thoughtful (leaving eggs, cheese, bread etc for breakfast) and easy to communicate with. The hillside view from the back deck is beautiful. The apartment was very clean and had off-street parking right out front. Overall, a great value. ”
