โWe arrived late evening, however a staff member was still on site, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful, made us feel โat homeโ. The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. โFound it difficult to find information about facilities etc during stay. No info in room and unable to find dinner menu on TV.
Thought dining room shut for lunch as entrance looked deserted as opposed to breakfast which ( we did not choose) was served by door. Reception staff helpful with car parking but failed at check out to give garage exit card so spent sometime trying to work out system before returning to reception to ask for help.
