Burntisland, Scotland hotel rooms at the Malmaison

We had a wonderful time and shall return!!

We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us champagne to help us...

WOW!! This rental was amazing. We do weekly rentals a lot and this was probably the best we have ever stayed in. It was a full size apartment, a full living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It was large enough that a couple could easily live there full time. Everything was clean and well decorated. The host even left us a welcome note and a bottle of wine. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. Even had a dishwasher. Nice washer and dryer as well. I could go...

Everything I could have hoped for and more. Perfect location, beautiful room, extra friendly staff, clean and quiet. LOVED our stay here.

Breakfast staff absolutely spot on service very courteous and efficient

We absolutely loved this hotel. Location was fantastic for walking, staff were friendly, food and beer were great, and our room and shared spaces were fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in the UK (and I've been staying at quite a few 5 star hotels). The staff was professional, friendly, and accomodating. They def pay attention to details and ensure we have the best experience. Even provided me some of the best local recs and I was quite impressed (and this is coming from a foodie like me)

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. My room was spacious and well stocked with coffee, espresso, tea, dishes, flatware, etc. I had control over the heat which i loved. The bed was quite comfortable and the furniture was quite nice. The...

Great property

Amazing overall. Bed could be a little more Cush but overall great facilities and the cafe at the bottom is wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.

Close to the Edinburgh castle, and transportation to airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Elevator does not reach the 3rd floor, a wee annoying but not a problem for us.

clean, spacious and comfortable. amazing view of the iconic Forth bridges, which are also easily accessible

Staff and locals very friendly to outsiders. We loved being at the house with the locals and there dogs. We were missing ours so much! Food delicious, and the sightseeing around and near village was gorgeous!!

Convenient location allowed us to walk to all the attractions, shops, and endless dining options. The staff was friendly, the bartender was a super hard worker and great at his job, and the rooms were clean. The hotel locks the gate at night so you have to use your key to get in, which is a nice feature for safety. If you are a light sleeper, it might be too noisy for you. Not from inside, but the people outside late at night (our room was facing the street). I found it entertaining and added to...

This is a wonderful hotel. We will definitely stay here on future trips. The location is ideal and the employees so responsive. Then beds were super comfortable, I just wish they offered a top sheet in addition to the duvet for the weird Americans that are used to that. I'm sure we could have asked for one. We just loved our suite. Top choice

Great location great service. The airport shuttle is not everyday

Everything about native hotel was wonderful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing, quaint hotel that also still serves as the Royal Scots Club. Located in a more quiet part of New Town, yet only a few blocks away from St. Andrews Square, Princes Street & Stockbridge. Hotel atmosphere might be a bit too settled for families with small children or younger partygoers & clubberers, everyone else who is looking for a nice and quiet retreat from the hectic and tourist filled city and a friendly, personal staff should not get disappointed.
