"No food/drink offering. Door-locks did not seem robust........warm room, clean bathroom and clean bedding........just very old-fashioned and low quality pillows etc........ the photograph of the deluxe room that I paid for did not match up with the reality. I would not stay here again."

"Staff and locals very friendly to outsiders. We loved being at the house with the locals and there dogs. We were missing ours so much! Food delicious, and the sightseeing around and near village was gorgeous!!"

"Just a one night stay while working in Kirkcaldy, had the superior single room. Due to the stormy weather I couldn’t keep the window open which made the room rather warm. Bed comfy enough, grout in the shower needs a good scrub (I am a cleaner and know what causes this!) and my carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. Other than that can’t complain for the price. Didn’t use any of the facilities so won’t comment. Would I stay here again, yes, if it was as cheap."
