“Lovely stay for 1 week in August with our spaniel, communication great with operator and staff very friendly. The site was clean, tidy and generally well maintained, the only point to note is the part built wing of the development 'under construction' which appears to have been in its current unfinished state for sometime; although unsightly and the only downside to the acomodation, this definitely did not spoil our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. ”

“An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!”

“Very good location to access North Devon. The property is cozy with added facilities recreational facilities like swimming pool and games. Good enough for a family of four for a short break. The town is stone throw away from the property with few food options. Superstore next door is huuuuugeeee bonus. Overall very good. Highly recommend ”

“Delightful welcome, including allowing us to order dinner from their restaurant at closing time. Great shower, comfortable bed, spacious living room, best kitchen appliances and calming view.”

“I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. “This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
