“On arrival we was greeted with a strong smell of damp. There was a lot of spiders and dead and live wood lice all around the house. The live were taken outside and the dead were sucked up the very doggy smelling vacuum cleaner. The sofa smelt of dogs and the sink had stuck on food remnants and dead wood lice. The only good points were: the bed was comfy and the nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco. Would we recommend and stay again? Unfortunately no.”

“I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere.”

“We stayed overnight at The Gateway Inn for a nearby family function and it was absolutely lovely - we wish we could have stayed longer and definitely intend to come back. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms and bar/restaurant are all comfortably and beautifully finished.
