"Kevin was great! We got there late but we still was able to find our place smoothly and it was very peaceful. Not a busy time, very clean. We loved the cottages. I paddled with my own paddle board. My kid had the whole pool to herself, and it was very clean. We will definitely be back. We got a Magnet that matched the cottage we stayed in. ♥️✌️⛱️"

"They are unable to accommodate the handicapped. Refuse to help. They blame Expedia and in turn Expedia blames them. Got nowhere talking to either party. Had to go out and buy a suction bath handle just to get into the shower. If you are handicapped stay as far away from this place as possible. They do not care about you. You give them all the money up front and they couldn’t care less about you. There is no office to go to if you have problems. Worse Experience Ever!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!"

"My husband and I stayed here and it was honestly one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! The ocean view was incredible, everything was clean, the bed was SO comfortable. They provided a mini fridge, microwave, and even a hairdryer. The rooms were serviced daily. The lighting and fans and air-conditioning were awesome. They even have a free laundry area to use (provide own detergent). Outside our room was two chairs and a table, and there was a wall between us and the room next-door to give privacy. The Internet was great and their TV service allowed you to sign in to use your own streaming services. We are telling everyone how great it is, and we would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended!!!"

"Difficult review to do - this area has been damaged by hurricanes and it’s very evident in surrounding area. This mom and pop type motel was built in the late 50’s - a small one story brick building with only 11 units. The owners/ managers aren’t on site. When we pulled in, we were ready to leave. HOWEVER - the owner happened to be there and showed us the units. They were spotless. Floors were clean, beds had nice white linens, towels were big white and fluffy. Small refrigerator and microwave. Window AC unit worked well, although it was very noisy. The rooms were smaller than the picture, and no closet or hooks to hang anything. We stayed for 2 days and considering how badly Buxton took a hit from hurricanes, the motel was super clean and we slept well. Great restaurants nearby, beautiful beach just down the road with many people fishing. The lighthouse is just on the next street ( covered with scaffolding right now, being repaired). All in all, the area is storm damaged, but motel is clean and we had restful sleep."
