“Macadamia is perfectly located to enjoy the area’s parks and activities. Pretty much everything you’d want to visit is only about five or ten minutes away. Door to door, downtown Santa Elena is only 4 minutes. The house was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Two separate bedrooms were great for our family of four. Our kids loved the trampoline, and I loved sitting out on the comfy chair in front of the house reading early in the morning and watching the birds. Guillermo...

“This was a wonderful hotel. Can't say enought good things about it. When we checked in we were told the story of the hotel's social responsibility. During our stay the staff and managers were very friendly and hospitable. They joined in my Kids' excitement of seeing birds and animals on our hikes. Our room on check-in had an issue and they switched us right away, later letting us know that the issue was dealt with an resolved. “I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. ”

“I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. “The place was well maintained with a garden and access to beautiful trails, Aguti wildlife trail in particular. Not many vegetarian options for food, but there are restaurants nearby. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“Room was clean, Staff were super. Food was good. Missed the hot tub - never saw it. One minor suggestion would be to install even the smallest of space heaters into the rooms to help take the chill and dampness out on those cool nights and mornings. It was about 15C during our visit.”
