B&B in Calabria

This is a perfect property, even better than 5-star hotels. Imaging hardwood floor bedroom and marble floor/walls bathroom. Everything is so neat and high standard. They also clean every day. You cannot complain about anything!

Vittorio is an amazing super host. Can't thank him enough for his hospitality and making us feel right at home. He stayed in contact with us until we reached Scalea by train. He then picked us up at the station and drove us back when we left. His rooms are sparkling clean, spacious and have beautifully tiled, large bathrooms. This place was just what we needed in our trip. After a few days on the road we practically stumbled into this place and we’re lucky we did. It was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and high end professionalism. The staff was nice and very helpful with suggestions around town. We found parking right outside of the building with no issues each time. Our suite had a sauna in it! Aziz was a pleasure as was every other member of staff we encountered. The hotel is very nice. Clean. Quiet. Relaxing. If I ever visit again, I’ll be sure to book a reservation at the Michelin Star restaurant on the premises. Which nobody ever mentioned. That’s how classy everyone was. No pretense. No ego. Just a nice place staffed by genuine and good people.

La Suite del Faro sits in a residential area on a hill with outstanding views of Scalea and the sea. The outdoor area is a beautiful large terrace, where we enjoyed a splendid breakfast served by the hosts. The room felt luxurious with a very comfortable bed, mini fridge, and great bathroom. My family of 4 stayed in the mansard rooms. It was a perfect two bedroom set up with a private bath and sitting room for us to share. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was nice and cool compared to other places we stayed in Italy. The owner was nice and helpful. He recommended a delicious restaurant that we loved.
