“Was very accommodating for a group of seven. The area was very safe and beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend this to any families traveling around that area. Staff was very helpful and gets back to you right away. Instructions were very easy the day of check-in”

“What a gem of a place. Hosts Celine and Fabian were very friendly and accomodating. They have 3 rooms in a homestay with lovely continental breakfast, including fresh eggs, orange juice, bread, tea, coffee abd cereals. You can use the outdoor kitchen complete with bbq by the pool and they preapre bbq packs at an additional cost. “Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was amazing. Room was very clean. It's a beautiful centuries old traditional family home that really brings you back in time. “We received a notice prior to arriving our check in wouldn't be until 7PM which was ridiculous. We sent an email advising we'd be arrive around 1200hrs for check in. When we arrived we weren't able to get in and the owner advised it would be around 1500hrs as they weren't available at this time. “This was a good hotel for the price and location. I was thrilled at the walkability from the hotel to everywhere that I wanted to go in the city. The longest walk to anywhere I wanted to go was 15 minutes. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made the stay more pleasant and were helpful when I had requests. “Our family stayed here on the way to Porto and had very special experience. Hotel was modern and clean while room interior gave feeling you're in home. Breakfast was one of best we had. It was so delucious and fresh just like cooked at home. Atmosphere of the village was also impressive with many stone-walls and peaceful scenary. ”

“Amazingly beautiful hotel, absolutely loved it. Hotel staff are wonderful, breakfast and patio bar are amazing. Only downfall is you have to park quite a ways away and roll your luggage a long way there through broken cobblestone. Otherwise this experience is quite amazing.”
