Gijón é a maior cidade das Asturias. Fica situada no Golfo de Biscaia a cerca de 20Km da capital das Astúrias, Oviedo. Uma das escalas de um cruzeiro entre Lisboa e Oslo era a cidade de Gijón. Tive assim a oportunidade de conhecer a pé grande parte desta cidade de pouco mais de 250 mil habitantes. Concentrei a minha caminhada pela área do Cerro Santa Catalina e todo o seu entorno. Uma bela surpresa.

Gijón is the largest city in Asturias. It is located in the Bay of Biscay, about 20km from the Asturian capital of Oviedo. One of the stopovers of a cruise between Lisbon and Oslo was the city of Gijón. I had the opportunity to visit a large part of this city with a little more than 250 thousand inhabitants. I concentrated my walk in the Cerro Santa Catalina area and all its surroundings. A beautiful surprise.

"New place, so definitely clean and modern. A little warm on hot nights and it would be great if they put a little shelf in the shower above the hook so people can bring stuff in the shower without it getting wet. I would definitely stay again for the price. "

"Modern space, comfortable and private bedspace. No staffing present for check in etc. I didnt see them at all during the stay and had some issues getting my code to work on the door to the room. Also, just aware they ask you to leave for set hours in the day so they can clean, so its not somewhere to relax during the day "

"Second time we stay here, all nice and a bit basic but well located and quiet. Parking is good, gentleman at the parking garrage was very nice when we arrived, no waiting time at check in and very nice lobby. We had a bottle of sparkling wine included with the booking but it was very low quality. Would stay again though."
