"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

They are so welcoming and if you happen to be lucky and Mica's dad is in town, don't miss out on Pizza Night! "A very pleasant stay. The hotel is brand new, and you can tell they paid attention to every detail. Everything is clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and if you’re carrying a lot, they can take you there in a tuk-tuk from the hotel, which is very convenient.
