"I would not recommend this property at all. Upon check-in, we were handed the key to a room that was clearly unclean. After informing the front desk, we were offered another room, only to find that it too had not been properly cleaned.
When I went back down to the reception to explain the situation, the response I received was shocking: “Well how are we supposed to know if it’s clean.” For a hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations any guest...

"Really well located hotel, close to the beach and central Cannes - everywhere is walkable. Great room, lovely staff. Best bedding and the cleaning team kept our room spotless. Some road noise, but you’re effectively in central Cannes so only to be expected. Would stay again."

"Iconic hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our room on the sixth floor although the bathroom was too small and the closet was tiny Service throughout the hotel was excellent although housekeeping was inconsistent. They routinely forget to replace coffee cups, teabags, etc. Not what you'd expect for over $1,100 a night. Overall though the Martinez is highly recommended."

"Great location just above central Cannes. Convenient car park just behind which cost us about 10 euros for an overnight stay. Just don’t drive anything tall! Massive suite worked well for us as a family of four, really comfortable beds and views from the 4th floor over some of Cannes sights too "
