Cape Cod Beaches Tours

Stage Harbor Light, at sunset. Chatham, Massachusetts. #hiking #massachusetts #lighhouse
Stage Harbor Lighthouse: This decommissioned but beautiful lighthouse lays on the tip of Harding beach. You need to go to the end of Hardings Beach Road, park your car there (there is plenty of space) and then walk along a sand trail for about 20-30 minutes. The place is amazing and it is worth the walk. Sunsets are spectaculars near the lighthouse.

This mornings walk
#patterns Taken during a stroll along the north Chatham bay just before sunset. It had rained the day before so the air was especially clear, but walking along the beach was a great way to spend the evening. Watch out for all the seaweed though!
Beautiful Beach. What a great beach! Big and gorgeous. Yarmouth's largest saltwater beach

The Cape Cod National Seashore is a wonderful place. Go to the visitor centers, do the hikes, visit the beaches. Wellfleet and Provincetown are fun places.

Cape cod is not as dog friendly as it once was. We had a difficult time in late July finding a beach to take her to. Most of the ORV routes were closed off, which is what we usually do. Drive on the beach and let her run and play, but we were not able to. The price for parking and passes at beaches has sky rocketed. The one beach we could take her to was nice enough, but $30 to park for one day and we had to walk up and down an enormous sand dune in 90 degrees with sand burning our feet. Disappointed in how cape cod beaches treat visitors and rethinking coming back.

Keep in mind - get day passes to park at the beaches - if driving. They are around $20.00 a day or $ 60.00 a week. Go to the Chamber of Commerce in most little villages/towns. .
