One of the most expensive night in my life and one of the worst experience. Check in was rude and no professional, you feel threatened of the rules and beach access and towels. The cleaning of the room was terrible, a lot of ugly/dirty spots. It is far from the nice thing to do. The restaurant is a diner no what they are saying or advertising. Please, stay away from this place

This was our first visit to La Mer, our room was beautiful, everything was like new, all beautiful tile in the bathroom. Furniture in our room was very comfortable and new, our bed also was very comfortable. From all marble and full-size fridge and freezer in kitchen area. The grounds are full of flowers, beautiful new pool area, short walk to the beach also providing towels, chairs, umbrellas and also a beach pass for out stay. Location, Location, Location, very nice quite area, made it great for sitting out on our balcony. Dinning and bar area also new, our dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Staff was also very kind and helpful, especially Jeannine, she was amassing she worked the pool and beach areas, very nice to talk to and always went out of her way to help us. I would rate them 10 out of 1-10. We will be coming back again.

The best resort in South Jersey period. Absolutely gorgeous! It's immaculate. The housekeeping staff should be commended on what an excellent job they do! Im fortunate to be able to travel often to some very high end hotels across the country and they can't compete. The restaurant staff and bar staff are a pleasure especially Jess !! Seriously can't wait to return! This is the only place for me at the jersey shore!!!

It’s a bit expensive for the condition of the property and not centrally located. That said, it’s a great place for families and the kids activities like bubbles and kites were great. The beds are very uncomfortable and some of the rooms are shabby and not remodeled yet. The front desk staff seemed new and inexperienced. The pool and beach staff were great.

We will come back! Never will we go to another B&B. It was so perfect. Our ocean front room was beautiful. Perfect view. Restaurant was wonderful and our waiter did a great job. All the staff was very friendly. Pool and lounge chairs were perfect. There was nothing negative. We needed To decompress. It worked.

I only have a few small cons of this hotel - the beds are pretty uncomfortable. The showers don’t have a place for shampoo conditioner etc so you have to put them on the ground - you can also see the drain in the shower which had mold in it. The rooms themselves were nice and we had room service / cleaning every day. Staff were nice and the area is gorgeous. We did go to the pier house connected to the hotel - food was good. However, the servers there seem extremely confused and slow. Our server seemed new or something because she took extremely long to do anything - even if there was 3 tables sat in the entire resturant. James at the bar is great and extremely kind and friendly. All and all I would rate the hotel a 7/10 I would come back to cape May but may stay at a different location.
