Amenities were great. There was a strong smell of propane on the floor we stayed. I advised the staff who seemed to try and find the issue but didn’t. The drink at the rooftop bar took forever to receive and were not very good.

Room was large and bed reasonably comfortable. In a corner room and block out curtains hard to pull closed. Always a small gap which shone light into the room either from buildings close by or sunrise.

GREAT LOCATION IN CAPE TOWN

I really enjoyed my stay at the PULLMAN CITY in Cape Town. The pool is a bit on the small side but the poolbar and surrounding area is very nice. Rooms are good also.

Pullman Capetown City Centre is in a fantastic location. A short stroll to Capetown Station, Shopping Centres, bars & restaurants. Courtesy shuttle bus is a bonus to VA Waterfront. Big clean room with a cosy bed. The staff are incredibly friendly, always looking out for you & so accommodating. I would highly recommend this property!

Mostly a pleasent place to rest.

We enjoyed our stay because of the staff, the location and ammenities. There were alot of renovations which we noisy and the little frige didnt work so my medication spoiled.

Seen so many negative reviews of the hotel BUT we can't compliment them enough. Since our arrival till we left we had such pleasant experience with the staff, the hotel all over as well as our room were clean. The room was spacious and we loved the shower. Dinner was fantastic as well as Breakfast. Our compliments to the manager as well as each and every staff member. Beautifull artwork on display to buy.

Great stay

We had a great stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They made sure we had everything we needed. And we really enjoyed the tours we took with Peter, a driver who was arranged by the hotel.

The hotel was in a good location. Handy for the city centre and you could walk to the V&A area. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. Our room was a little unkept and we were moved to a better room. Thank you for that. TV had nothing on in English worth watching no movies and could not stream. The Executive Lounge was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes plently of food on in the morning sometimes not. Same in the evening between 5pm and 7pm. Could do with more information about what is included and when food will be available.

We had a wonderful time! However; there are a few issues that prevents me from giving 5 stars. The AC wasn’t working properly therefore our room was hot. The parking situation to get to and from the rooftop was quite a task, the parking elevator was not working; there was black stuff between the tiles in the shower- a little bleach would take care of that and finally the food on the 2nd floor was somewhat subpar. Nonetheless; the was wonderful and professional at all times. Special shoutout to the group at the pool bar. The location of the hotel is great and we really appreciate the recommendations that were given to us- we visited almost all of them. We had a wonderful time; if it weren’t for those minor issues ; I wouldn’t hesitate to give 5 stars.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre and within walkable distances to many points of interest. Staff is friendly, especially at the restaurant. There are no major issues with the stay but several areas could be improved. First, the double bed was made of two small single beds. It is not very comfortable because of the gap in the middle. The very reason I booked Pullman is that I had good stay in other countries with comfortable beds but it was disappointing. Also, the room is quite small for a five star hotel. On the last day, some staff were upgrading the card access system on the door without prior notice. When I was doing my work in the hotel room, suddenly some people knocked the door twice and before I could answer the door, they started to open the door and test the card access. This is extremely unpleasant. There are other minor issues during my five day stay here. Overall, I don't think it is worth the five star rating or the money paid and hence I will think twice to book another stay at Pullman anywhere in the world.
