Das Hotel war sehr sehr schön und die Lage traumhaft - mitten in der Natur !!! Frühstück war absolut ausreichend und sehr liebevoll zubereitet - extrawünsche werden immer erfüllt !!! und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Inhaber spricht Deutsch ! Einzigster "Nachteil" - es existiert zwar WiFi - allerdings ist dies zu "langsam" um damit surfen zu können. Auch Wattsapp ist damit kaum möglich - ansonsten kann ich diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen !!!

Un bijou dans la nature

Hôtel avec un charme fou, entre vieilles pierres, boiseries et une restauration remarquablement réalisée. Difficile de trouver plus calme, au milieu de nul part sans être loin de la ville et des plages. Restaurant avec des plats typiques, et des produits de qualité (ne pas rater la pata negra proposée). Bref, à recommander pour une nuit ou un séjour au cœur de la Galice

Bello Pazo gallego para disfrutar y descansar

Ha sido una experiencia fantástica el alojarnos en un Pazo (palacio gallego) con tanta historia y situado en un bello enclave natural. Carlos el encargado-propietario es muy amable y siempre dispuesto para que la estancia sea fantástica. Muy silencioso y tranquilo, tuvimos suerte de hasta hacer uso de la piscina y de poder tomar una copa en la terraza. Esta un poco escondido el Pazo a las afueras de Carballo pero desde allí se puede uno desplazar muy bien a ver todas las atracciones de la Costa da Morte. Cenamos en su restaurante y fue una muy buena experiencia pues no hay muchas opciones para una buena cena en la zona.En resumen una estancia excelente!

Looks can be Deceiving

The hotel staff was friendly but odd and the rooms smelled terribly of mildew. The hotel was quite literally in the middle of nowhere. And the food at the restaurant nearly made us ill. We will not return.

Elegant and friendly country hotel

A long established and excellent country hotel. I stayed for business and found it quiet and welcoming. There is a nice garden for summer weather, an excellent restaurant and the staff couldn't do more to help including a late check-in. I was made to feel very welcome.

Pleasant historical setting

A nice functional hotel with a historical feel - all basic amenities were fine. It is not a luxury hotel though. Food in restaurant was good and breakfast was very good quality with a good selection. Check-in and service were not particularly friendly - reception was much warmer in other places that we stayed in Galicia.

Fabulous! The Pazo do Souto is exceptional.

We would return here without question. Each of the six of us (cyclists) from No. California, USA, want to return here with our spouses and families. What a wonderful restoration of an historic property! Staff are knowledgeable and courteous. The meals were wonderful! Fresh food and beautiful presentation. Location is convenient to visiting towns along the coast.

Lovely place to stay
