"I have been to many places, but this was something else. The owner greeted me once I arrived, he didn’t speak much English but his daughter (?) helped me out. They are really nice people. The room I got was recently renovated, it looks modern and the shower was great. Unfortunately I couldn’t have a dinner there, because I arrived late, but there are many options around. The large grounds were full of areas to relax - veranda with wine grape vines, fruit trees, tasteful landscaping in an area tucked into farmland without the feeling of being crammed into the city. "The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a nice bathroom, a big balcony facing the lake and the mountains. The view was peaceful, the lake was serene, and the common areas were tidy and pretty. Lecco was much less congested than Como, but if you wanted to go to Como, it was only a 35 minute drive with amazing views. I recommend this hotel. "
