A perfect stay for our honeymoon that we will always remember. Ocean suite was spacious, clean and peaceful, service across the whole hotel was wonderful, we loved the complimentary amenities and food and drinks were superb everyday!
I have nothing but amazing things to say from the Service to the Food to how our children were treated. This was our first time on the island bringing our kids we have been coming for years and I would choose this resort over and over again top-notch service, top-notch rooms and just overall amazing.
Great location on the beach. Room is modern and well maintained. Staff are so kind and friendly and more than happy to share about the local culture, cuisine, and local sites of interest.
Will return!
We had a fantastic stay at Carlisle Bay. The beach is beautiful and ideal for families, and the large pool was perfect for the kids.
The food was consistently good across all three restaurants, and there was plenty to do. We enjoyed tennis lessons, tubing, snorkelling and scuba diving, and the kids were entertained from morning to night. They loved the kids club - which had no screens.
The standout, though, was the staff. Every single person we met was friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. It’s clear they are exceptionally well trained, and they made the whole stay feel effortless.
We’d happily come back.
Amazing stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food was delicious with great variety, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend!
The staff are terrific, the rooms spacious and everything just feels very luxurious. Lots of attention to detail. Beautiful clean beach. Lots of amenities. Good restaurants and a great little shop.
We had an incredible vacation at Carlisle Bay. The resort was in a beautiful setting and extremely family friendly. Our room was spacious and you cannot beat being right on the beach.
The service and welcome was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The beachfront villa was as advertised and right on the beach and each of the 4 restaurants gave a good choice of food.
I can’t say enough good things about this property the staff is so kind the kids club so amazing the food delicious and the room spacious. Currently our flight is delayed and they made it easy for us to stay and feel welcome. You will be so happy you chose to stay here!
Peaceful, clean, lovely warm helpful friendly staff. Upgraded room, walk out to beach, enjoyed meeting some of the others guests. Traveled solo. The friendliness of the staff helped make a very comfortable atmosphere and stay. H spa was amazing, massage and body wrap. Was so relaxed I never read my book.
The beach is gorgeous and the staff are fantastic. Good selection of non-motorised water sports, bed is comfy and the free minibar (soft drinks only) is a nice touch. Only reasons for 4 not 5 star rating was that I thought the on site restaurants were a little over priced for the food as were the drinks, and shower gels etc we’re not replenished (minor touch I appreciate).
1. Room:
We were assigned suite 4. The window in the kids’ room had no glass, only a mosquito net. We asked to be changed to a normal room but they didn’t have any left. The staff tried to fit in a plexiglass and as the measures would not coincide with those of the window, decided to seal it with blue tape…
The room decor is dated and the furniture inside and outside shows signs of wear and tear.
Some rooms had mosquito nets in the balcony doors, some didn’t…
The overall level of cleaning was poor and there was a significant level of built up dirt in the bathroom, rooms and kitchen.
2. Hotel:
The property is small.
There are only three restaurants and a beach grill that is more like a bar. Two of the restaurants (Italian and Asian) share a kitchen…
The pool is small and does not have any views.
The gym is compact but complete.
I did not use the spa nor tennis facilities.
3. Beach:
The beach is lovely and the sea has crystalline and warm waters. No seaweed. Plenty of marine life (we saw trumpet fish, turtles, rays and barracudas a few meters from the shore). The loungers are comfortable.
4. Water sports:
Kayak, paddle board and pedal board were available. The paddle-boards were quite run down. The hotel also offers motor boat activities but both boats were out of service for the week. We could only wakeboard once and they only have a male wake size 46…
5. Staff:
Perhaps the greatest asset the hotel has!!! Friendly, attentive, willing to go out of their way.
The reviews are all right!
They are the kindest staff members I've ever been in contact with.
Everything was super accommodating. From extra pillows, turn down service etc..
Dining on premises, taxis and other add-ons could get quite pricey.
