"Staff and service was excellent.
Hotel very dated. Stains on carpets. Laminate floor in bedroom ripped. Sticky surfaces.
Communal male toilet in restaurant out of order for over 5 days.
"
"Hotel is a little dated and tatty round the edges. But it’s clean and tidy. It does need a bit of TLC. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful.
WiFi is free but it didn’t reach our room fully so that was a bit of a negative.
Overall a comfortable stay, the place just needs a little spruce up! "
"Spa was brilliant, really clean, smelt nice and staff so welcoming. Room spotless, quiet night sleep and nice little extras in room. Breakfast and dinner very nice, again staff very efficient and friendly. "
"Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. All staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, quality ingredients and plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed the touch of the espresso machine and cake stand during our stay. "
"Great 1 night stay, very close to the train station, rooms were a good size if a little dated but the bed was clean and very comfortable with great pillows."
"We were upgraded to a beautiful, clean and spacious room overlooking the front of the Hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - our bags were even taken up to our room for us. Buffet cooked breakfast is delicious and plentiful and the 3 course evening dinner is a nightly treat!
The Hotel is ideally situated for walking in the National Park and close to shops, and local transport. All-in-all highly recommended!"
