"Was worried by some reviews but found my room clean and functional, staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Yes the corridors are a bit tired and decor is dated in places but it was super cheap, clean and friendly. What more do you need on a stop off whilst travelling."

"Beautiful old building and first impressions was how cozy the place was kept without the need for radiators on in the room on a cold October evening. Really friendly hosts. The furnishing is old but this didn't impact on our stay. Great location and value. Breakfast was affordable and the cooked breakfast was good, continental option was a bit lacking. Will certainly stay again if in the area"

"My first Ibis, probably not the last. It was clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast option was good. Centrally located so it was probably noisy on the side facing Botchergate but they do provide complementary earplugs, my room overlooked a private car park so the earplugs were not required but were used at the Blues Festival."
