The Blue Licks State Resort is located in a very rural and beautiful scenic area. Not much else in the immediate area. We did drive to 'downtown' Carlisle (maybe 15 minutes away). Not many stores opened, but people very friendly.

Amazing and relaxing stay! Place was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Bunnies and horses greeted us as we arrived and throughout our stay.
