“This was the most wonderful experience staying at Kilkea Castle. The property is steeped in history and was incredibly interesting to read about. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious, with some tasty variations on traditional Irish breads with soups. Breakfast was ordered from a menu rather than buffet style. We had a memorable experience and loved every minute!”
“A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area.”
“Quick 20 min walk from the train station with a lovely intro to Killkenny as you go. in the heart of town so it's easy to navigate around sights and spots. Clean, cozy bed, and very helpful staff. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked welcoming. there was a small fan in the room to help with lack of AC which did just fine.”
