“Incredibly beautiful castle, grounds and room. Highly advise a castle bedroom if you can! Very clean, comfortable and huge. Biggest drawback was limited dining options during the week-same menu for lunch and dinner that gets boring pretty fast. Breakfast was tasty and lots of options all included. Close to Dublin- we didn’t have a car but 45 minutes by train and then 10 minute taxi made it easy (except book taxi ahead as Athy is pretty small). Worthwhile for the luxury to stay in a castle!”

“Lyrath Estate ist ein hervorragendes Hotel vor den Toren von Kilkenny. Unser Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine riesen Auswahl und alles war sehr lecker. Abends genossen wir das Essen im 'The Grill &Bar', einem der beiden Restaurants. In der Lobby gab es später Life-Musik. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht im Hotel verbrachten und daher den Spa-Bereich nicht nutzten.”
