โWe spent one night here on our way from Dublin to Kilkenny.
The staff were prompt and very polite.
The location is rural, but the facility is top notch. A grand staircase greets you as you enter the main lobby.
As a group, we occupied three rooms.
Our only issue was the lack of room air conditioning (but iist say the temps while we visited were the highest in almost 80 years).
The rooms are equipped with an energy saving feature, you must place a room key in a wall mounted to activate any in...
โThe location is fantastic. Very close to all the bars and nightlife but not in the noise of it. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was huge, (could have included beans though)..
Only downside was the shower curtain. It just stuck to you when using the shower making it uncomfortable. โ
โFriendly staff. Really good value. Spacious room. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Beds a bit soft for my preference. A few things overlooked in room cleaning. Bathroom was spotless. Access to a great leisure centre.โ
โTotal gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. โ
โQuirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean.
We were in a room next to the pub so we didnโt have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930.
Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night.
Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. โ
โFantastic place ! Its clean and comfortable. The host Cathy is very helpful and attentive, she even made us fresh scones for supper. The breakfast was top quality. I would highly recommend a stay at Mon Petite. โ
โThis place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madelineโs. โ
