A great bonus of Tregella is that it’s close to the beach (any closer and it would be on the beach) and close to the town centre but on a quiet road.”

“Great hotel! All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. There was plenty of breakfast food, full English or a continental option. You could have both and go back for more, self-service. The evening meals were excellent. Compliments to the chef. One, two or three courses at a reasonable fair price. Nicely presented, with quick service. Parking was £8 for 24 hours. The pool isn’t huge but it's okay. Extra towels can be collected from reception. The small gym was a bonus. It has a good...

“It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel. We ate in each night on our 3 night stay, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Also the quality of the bar staff and the reception staff checking in and out. Can’t fault any of them. ”

“The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.”
