“Could not fault it! We stayed in the orient room and were very impressed, the hot tub is nice and private also.”

“Brand new renovated cottage, in the old bunker house, absolutely ideal for 2 guests with breakfast included. Clean , perfect food & service, what else do you need.”

“Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade.”

“Friendly staff including one who formerly and by sheer coincidence worked at the good old boarding school I proudly attended years ago. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with everything including the high standards location and amenities. Cleanliness were very good apart from some surfaces needed a little dusting and one of the bedroom lamps didn’t work though again, overall the standards are extremely high and I’d certainly recommend future guests and I’d certainly return.”

“A pleasant, convenient stopover on our road trip This was a really nice spot to break up our road trip. The on-site bar was a highlight, offering a great food and drink menu alongside warm, attentive service from the staff. Having a quality breakfast included in the stay was a definite plus and set us up well for the drive ahead. The room itself was slightly dated, but everything was clean, functional, and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay...

“Lovely spot that we have stayed at a lot recently visiting family.”

“House not cleaned properly, plug socket in middle bedroom hanging off wall, tv aerial cables hanging out wall in kitchen at fridge, leaking radiator in kitchen - reported to owner/management company on day 1 of holiday - no response. Had to put newspapers down to dry floor up, wall crumbling in corner of kitchen, paint flaking off numerous walls & in poor state of decoration. Have stayed in many holiday cottages which were all of much better standard - I would not recommend this cottage.”
