"I was able to check in early, which was a great start. I arrived at Bergamo Airport just after lunch and discovered the shuttle wasn’t running, so I had to take a private taxi. Once I arrived, the hotel made a strong impression — modern, clean, good Wi‑Fi, and genuinely helpful staff. Breakfast was enjoyable and reasonably priced, and the barman was friendly and chatty. As it happened to be the day of the World Cup final, I chose to watch it from the comfort of my room.
