“Das Zimmer war sauber und konfortabel. Es fehlte jedoch ein kühlschrank was für ein executive Zimmer negativ ist. Das Personal war genetell freundlich. Nur in der Bar ear der Service eher miserabel. Das Frühstück war zum vergessen. Den Pool konnte ich nicht benutzen.”

“We stayed at Cabra Castle for a wedding and had such a wonderful experience! The castle and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the whole experience felt like stepping into a fairytale. There is something so special about staying in a real castle! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and it was the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. Such a memorable stay!”

“The walled garden was lovely in the sunny autumn weather. My Room 234 was special. Noticed a small cutback in the menu options since my last visit. eg No chowder. But I will be back asap. I love Ballymscanlon”

“Absolutely stunning room and property. Staff goes above board Everytime i stay there”

“Great stay for a wedding in Cabra Castle, just down the road. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very friendly and welcoming too!”

“Rooms are quite large, but showing their age. Bathroom was grubby. Floors were dirty with grime in all the corners. Carpet was well worn, definitely recommend slippers! Elevator was down and had apparently been out of service for quite some time although that information was not shared at booking.”

“Stayed on our way back to Dublin. Hotel is well located between Giant's Causeway and Newgrange and other sites north of Dublin Airport. Hotel itself is modern and well-appointed, good restaurant and easy to access so it was an excellent way station for the touristy stuff we had planned. Room was quiet, very well appointed and spacious, even more so because of honest-to-goodness air conditioning (the relative humidity during our visit to Ireland was typically 70+%) in a country where most...

“Really clean, modern room, comfortable beds and decent shower. Plenty of storage for a couple of nights. Lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Room could benefit from a hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities but appreciate its basic. Handy location near to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.”

“This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. It’s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway. I’d definitely...

“Lovely place to stay. Was the perfect last night in Ireland for us. Their family dog Gracie was a big highlight for our little girl who played with her. Thanks for having us!”

“Innisfree House is amazing. It is over a century old Edwardian townhouse owned by Robert DeNiro’s doppelgänger. He is an excellent host a pours a fabulous shot of TyrConnell whiskey and is a great conversationalist and family man. Our room was opulent and cozy. Breakfast was served in the dining room every morning with a variety of choices from the menu. This was included with the room. There is a coffee shop and market directly across the street. The lady who runs the place is Gitte,( I...
