This was the first waterfall I visited on my very first trip to the Columbia River Gorge, and still to this day it's one of my favorites. A short easy hike through the forest and you're there. I had never scene so many different shades of green before visiting the CRG, it's one of my favorite places on Earth.

"We were THRILLED to know that the hotel was finally open and available for an overnight during our Thanksgiving travels. There were the obligatory minute challenges with it being so newly opened during our visit but the service and hospitality far outweighed any inconvenience we encountered. The hotel is absolutely wonderful from top to bottom and the investment in everything from the outside bricks to the gorgeous tile was very obvious. We were disappointed in a few aspects of our stay such as the spa/hot pool not yet being available but the beautiful building, wonderful staff, service, and atmosphere more than made up for that."
