"Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. "

The food was unbelievable: farm-to-fork in the truest sense, simple cooking done perfectly at both breakfast and dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back! "It was peaceful and quiet place to rest. Having private carpark was good. The host gave us a bottle of Rosé wine which we were pleasantly surprised. The Aircon unit in the place had only heating function, the cooling function was not available. Tried to let in fresh cool air by opening the windows but there was no insect screens so the insects flew in as well. In the end, we slept in the room that was warm and stuffy. It would have great if fans were provided."

Breakfast options could have been more varied for vegetarians and the staff member who greeted us on arrival could have been a little more welcoming! All other members of staff were outstanding. "We loved our stay at Cesani, specifically for the: -Helpful staff: they recommended a couple of restaurants close by that were amazing -The View: the view from the property (and poo!) was amazing -Our room was very clean, the only thing I would change is the lighting (to a warmer bulb) and maybe some decor updates but that’s so minor compared to how great our stay was!"
