Overall we were happy with our stay. The location is central a short walk to all the main attractions in the old city. The apartment was facing the street & university so there was some street noise but a normal amount. Breakfast is not included but just next door is a nice bar where they make lovely coffees, have delicious pastries & panini but you can hear them start making coffees at 7am! We found the bathroom small and there was no place to hand wet towels. Missing hooks. The kitchen didn't seem very well equipped if you plan of cooking it might be difficult to do anything that isn't too basic. Regarding the Eco-Friendly question - there was no info on what what could possibly be recycled or composted.

For the price, the room was in a great location and had plenty of space and modern amenities. The shower was a bit small and I’m a little frustrated that we received a different room than the one that we’ve booked through Hotels.com. The check-in process was a little sketchy in that I didn’t ever receive an email to send required passport photos to, and you can’t send images through Hotels.com. That leaves you needing to send passport photos to an unknown WhatsApp number that didn’t respond to questions confirming that it was correct until an hour or so before check in. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but everything worked out. Make sure that you bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap as there seem to be a random assortment of things left behind from a previous guest. both my room and my friends room that stayed in a different one both had about half a roll of toilet paper left, which required us to go out to a bodega and buy some our some ourselves. lastly, I may have missed it, but I didn’t see anything in the listing about a required xx euro per person per day city tax. I don’t know if I actually believe that, or if that money just goes to the housekeeper. In any case it was unexpected and caused us some stress to try to go find change to leave this on the table before we checked out. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend it to others, but I might be a little bit more prepared now that I know what to expect.

This place is cute and pretty cool. You do have to contact the owner via WhatsApp to get everything situated. It’s near a beautiful cathedral and plaza area. It had a cool spot right below for coffee and drinks! The area is right around the block from everything and Roman ruins

I have a very good opinion of the apartment itself. However, the experience could have been better if the property manager had acted more professionally. They made false promises regarding the receipt for the city tax. If you're on a business trip and need an invoice for reimbursement, you may face issues, as they do not provide a receipt for the city tax they collect. Although they promise to send it when collecting the payment, they later ignore follow-up requests.

Has potential but not clean - needs rework & TLC

The owner only wanted to communicate via email as I had a foreign phone number which is not really helpful. And it takes a while before he responded. Only when we were on the doorstep, I got an email with instructions from him. Check is inflexible, only at 3 pm. In itself the appartment is nice, it has potential, but is it not exclusive at all. Especially the kitchen area needs a clear cleaning: all glasses, dishes, cups, plates, etc were dirty. We needed to wash everything before using. The glass doors of the shower were dirty with stains from previous usage, the same applies to the glass dining table. Hygien e is poor overall. Also dust under the bed and the bedspread had dust flakes all over. Electric wires from the TV hang unprotected under the TV. The pictures on the site look better than reality. Most disgusting was a used plastic cup in the bathroom with clear marks of previous usage. Pictures are all from the apparment upon arrival, no matter what the owner says.

Check-in à distance inadapté, longue attente dans la rue pour obtenir les clefs. La clim' ne fonctionne pas. Les communs sont en très mauvais état. La propriété du frigo est limite. Le wifi est lent. Et surtout, c'est très bruyant ! On a l'impression de dormir dans la rue... Bref, ce Palace n'a de "palace" que le nom.

Aventura en Catania.

Me alojé en este apartamento de una habitación y salón con sofá cama, por un periodo de 5 días. El apartamento está convenientemente situado frente al impresionante monasterio Benedictino que vale la pena visitar. Al llegar lo primero que hicimos fue limpiarlo: especialmente los enseres de cocina, la vajilla, el baño y el suelo (mejor no asomarse debajo de la cama). La cama de la habitación principal era cómoda, pero tenía un plástico protector cubriendo el colchón, que la hacía muy ruidosa. El sofá cama no es cómodo: es pequeño, y se deforma con el peso de un adulto. El apartamento es muy luminoso y tiene unas excelentes vistas de la plaza y el monasterio, pero el suelo adoquinado de la carretera y el tráfico constante a todas horas de coches y personas hace que se escuche lo que ocurre en la calle: los coches al pasar y la gente hablar. Está mal insonorizado. En definitiva para mi familia fue una aventura, fue algo diferente, pero que no repetiríamos.

Il vero problema è la descrizione “exclusive suite” che alza di molto le aspettative e poi ti trovi nell’androne che porta all’ingresso dell’abitazione che è più paragonabile all’ingresso dell'infermo di Dante ma solo più fatiscente, per il resto è ok ma avrei segnalato che in un appartamento di forse 60 m2 (il che ritengo essere molto grande) ci si ritrova dentro un bagno di forse 2,5 m2 e quindi senza bidet! Ripeto l’avrei segnalato specialmente per una cliente come quella italiana che fa davvero fatica a farne a meno.

You get what you pay for

Location was good. Not far from all the action, not too close so it is a little quieter. The room wasn't ready when we arrived even if we arrived at 3pm which was communicated to the owner ahead of time. We managed to get in the room an hour later. The room was dirty. The room size is great but the bathroom is very, very small! I mean, it's hard to turn around within it if the door is closed... The area is pretty busy therefore a little noisy. Not much the owner can do about it. Air conditioning works well. There is no onsite parking. You have to find parking on the street which can be a challenge.
