"This was a ultra modern resort with excellent rooms and staff. Beautiful resort. In room laundry and multiple salt water pools. The restaurants were good but not great and the on site store was convenient but not well stocked. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a terrible sargassum problem that rendered the sea front useless and the pools were cold"

"It is a new hotel and could be a very nice hotel but there are things that still need to be done before anybody would want to stay there. We stayed in a room with no phone and no clock no view and windows that couldn’t even open.. There’s nothing to do. They do offer a free ferry to get to the other side of the island where things are happening. They have no bike rental no ability to set up tours. The local Bliss beach is closed from Monday through Thursday. It is a beachfront property that is covered in sarcasm so you can’t use the beach anyway. they have a nice pool. It is as if they opened too soon they have condos. They are called the blue Zen which does you know good at the hotel the condos have a fitness center, kayaks, other activities, but the hotel has nothing. If you like room service, there is none. If you’d like to watch anything on Netflix or prime good luck. They have a small restaurant out on the dock we had two breakfast there one was OK and one was good. Even if you get a good deal on Expedia, I would wait till this hotel has better amenities before I would look at ever staying there again. No fault to the staff. They were awesome. They were communicating with me on WhatsApp because we didn’t have any kind of phone system to communicate on. They have a beach towel that you can use while you’re there that was nice. in all reality if I come back to the island, I will stay on the southside."

"Reception staff was very helpful directing us to a health clinic and arranging transportation. Good, clean budget option close to the ferry. "

"On arrival we found the towels completed covered in bugs, we then saw bugs on our bed sheets and other areas of the room, bugs had gotten into our backpack. We texted the manager Miguel at 7:30 who said he would come right away, he arrived at 8:30 and told us the room had been fumigated prior to our arrival but he would do a deep clean and fumigation right now. We were then asked to take our bags and sit in the outdoor seating area. Miguel told us he would move us to the Bounty Beach Club in the am but we would have to stay in that room overnight due to no availability at the Beach club, he promised us a meal and unlimited drinks while staying in the Beach club. Cleaning and fumigation took a couple hours and we didn’t get back into our room until 11:15pm. When bringing us back to our room Miguel then said we’d have to stay in that room for the remainder of our trip due to no availability at the beach club but promised us we could have all of our food and beverages comped, he told us he would speak to the manager of the Beach club and have everything sorted for us to spend the day there. They fumigated the room again the next day. Manager on duty at the beach club informed us that Miguel had made promises to appease us in the moment that they could not afford due to it being a new business, they informed us they could only comp 1 food and 1 drink each which was not what was promised. Multiple promises were made to try to appease us that they later refused to accommodate. "
